Connected TV ads represent one of the fastest growing segments of advertising. Vidillion’s patent pending software permits content owners to better monetize their over-the-top (OTT) and internetprotocol television (IPTV) content with ads delivered to Connected TVs.

Vidillion’s Ad Manager includes email notification of new ads and an entirely browser-based UI that allows for the timely review and disposition of new ads. Ad reviews can now be conducted online, on a per VSP basis, either by Vidillion’s operations staff or by the customers themselves. Ad Manager represents another value-added differentiator for Vidillion because it provides our VSPs with an additional layer of security against inappropriate ads, compared to what they would get from working directly with one or more of our ad partners.

An Over-the-Top content provider may have viewers located in over 100 countries who are viewing more than 200 different Connected TV ads. Vidillion’s Connected TV Ad Manager provides the means of ensuring that their ads are targeted appropriately for their viewers in each country Ad Manager allows the scope of an Ad Restriction rule to be set by Geographic Rule, Community, and/or Category. For example, it would be possible to configure a rule that says “No finance ads on cooking channels” or “No beef ads in California.” It also allows the reviewer to stop low-quality or improperly encoded CTV ads. Other examples include ads that are appropriate for adult channels may not be appropriate for children’s channels; and ads that are appropriate for sports channels may not be appropriate for food channels.

Upon ad approval, Vidillion automatically transcodes and transrates the video ad as necessary to play on all of the customers devices.
